The Particle Series from Deaf Planet

These four pieces were made in 2009 using Acer laptop running Windows, Ableton Live, CME MIDI controller keyboard, a wheezing old FM tuner, lots of plug-ins and synthesizers with Kammerl Audio Slicer as a primary organising tool.

Loops, like waves with stable, non-decaying sources of power, mixed to produce higher orders of complexity across indefinitely extended connections.

Streams of data are cut up and edited where natural musical divisions, notes or fractions of beats occur. The lengths between each division are randomly determined.
